Some dogs love chasing balls and others are obsessed with treats. But one tiny pup named Iris at a Alpha Doggy Play-care has a completely different obsession: she will only take naps on the biggest, fluffiest dogs in the room.
While other pups curl up on blankets, in corners, or on plush dog beds, this little one insists on climbing onto her gentle giants and dozing off right on top of them. And honestly? It’s one of the cutest things you’ll ever see.
A Nap Routine Unlike Any Other
From the moment Iris started attending daycare, the pup quickly made her preferences clear. She would sniff around, scout out the biggest dog in sight, and without hesitation, climb aboard. The daycare staff couldn’t stop laughing at her persistence—every nap time became a mission to find the fluffiest pillow-dog.
And once she finds his chosen nap buddy? Out like a light. Tiny paws stretched out, soft snores puffing from his nose, totally at peace on a mountain of fur. This made perfect sense to her pet mom Ebony Magyar as she said “Blankets also seem to have magical powers. When she is in a ‘piranha’ mood, I can wrap her in a blanket, and she calms instantly.”

Who wouldn’t love a friend + fluffy bed
What makes this routine even sweeter is how the bigger dogs respond. Imagine a Great Pyrenees, Golden Retriever, or Bernese Mountain Dog—massive, fluffy, and calm. Instead of brushing her off, these giants welcome the company. Some barely stir as the pup curls up, while others give a protective glance as if to say, “Don’t wake her, she’s comfortable.”
A Bundle of Pure Love
Iris got her two favourite things sleeping and playing combined together at the daycare. And her confident interaction is so contagious that her fellow younger, nervous dogs can’t help to come out of their shells who are still nervous around with other dogs.
As Iris plays and cuddles through out the day this doesn’t tire her to give love to her most important person her mom. “She’s just a huge personality, so it’s never a dull moment when she’s around,” Magyar said. “And the best part of the day is picking her up from daycare and her kiss attacks — then being able to cuddle her until it’s her bedtime.”
